Ballet Melange Academy offers thoughtfully structured programs designed to support dancers at every stage of their journey:

Pre-Ballet: Our youngest dancers are introduced to the fundamentals of movement through imaginative, age-appropriate classes that develop coordination, musicality, balance, and a love for dance.

Youth Ballet Training: As students progress, classes emphasize classical ballet technique, proper alignment, strength, flexibility, and musical awareness through structured barre and center work.

Intermediate & Advanced Training: Dedicated students receive comprehensive instruction that includes ballet technique, pointe, character dance, pas de deux, and contemporary technique, preparing them for performance opportunities and advanced study.

Performances
An important part of dance training is to develop artistry and stage presence, which can only be cultivated through performance experience. Throughout the year, all levels of Ballet Melange Academy students have the opportunity to audition and participate in various ballet productions with our associated professional company Ballet Melange. Among these is the beloved production of The Nutcracker every winter, and the annual Spring productions of full length classical ballets such as Giselle, Le Corsaire and Cipollino. Academy students also perform in our Spring Show which showcases their hard work and progress as they perform excerpts of famous classical ballets and innovative contemporary pieces. At Ballet Melange Academy, there is always an exciting production to look forward to!
