Teacher Training Program

At Ballet Melange Academy's Teacher Training Program, ballet instructors learn the critical elements of the Vaganova Syllabus while developing the skills to bring out the best in every student. Each day of the two week program will include three hours of presentations on the core elements of Levels 3 through 5 of the Vaganova methodology, one hour of interactive discussion and lesson planning, and three hours of class time with hands-on experience with students of Ballet Melange Academy. Teachers will learn how to introduce and perfect new positions and combinations, how to identify weaknesses in student technique, and how to instruct students in the proper use of specific muscles to improve ballet technique. Each participant will teach class, supervised by and with feedback from the faculty.
